The staff, the room - everything was very good

This is a gem of a hotel in a great location. The hotel was spotlessly clean and we had a fabulous view over the sea from our room. Breakfast was absolutely excellent. The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Overall an excellent experience. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Bedrooms are lovely and recently updated. The staff were just wonderful and very accommodating. Other areas of the hotel could do with updating but other than that a great experience

I had the pleasure of staying in the Marine Hotel for 2 nights and I have to say it was a most enjoyable experience. my room was beautiful,, bathroom fab with complementary Rituals shower products, lovely crisp linen on the bed. A lovely tranquil view over the bay from my room watching the seals and the sea. The staff were so friendly and the food was great,,great coffee too,,super beache close by, I had a wonderful stay,, Thank you

As usual I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Marine Hotel this year. For many years (except for a 3-year Covid gap) I have based my annual Dublin visit there and never been disappointed. My room this time was very comfortably furnished and thoroughly equipped. The view across the Bay to the Wicklows was magnificent (most days!) with interesting ships passing between the North Bull and Poolbeg lights and others anchored off Dalkey. The all-important staff, without exception, were, as always, very friendly, competent and helpful. My special compliments go to the Chef for reliably enjoyable meals with some imaginative dishes – especially with fish. I dined in the bar lounge most evenings but – on Laura’s recommendation – had two exceptionally good dinners with a matching wine list in Cucinos. Unfortunately this was closed the evening I had my two guests but they left still singing the praises of ‘Catch of the Day’. After I left Ireland I visited an old Dublin-born friend in Oxfordshire with fond memories of childhood lunches in the Marine – probably about the 1950s – who was very pleased to know it was still flourishing. Long may it continue – hopefully with Cucinos open daily and its customer base fully restored.

I stayed for a few nights with my Mum and my baby. My relative was having a birthday celebration afternoon at the hotel. We were so delighted with the hotel, the room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were so kind and attentive, despite them being run off their feet as the hotel was busy. The food was super too. The beautiful beach can be seen from the hotel gardens and is only a 2 minute walk to reach. It’s so lovely that you could happily spend the day in the hotel. We’d definitely stay again.

The room was very nice and spacious and all staff we interacted with were kind and helpful. The location is great and it felt like a vacation from the city life the moment we stepped through the door.

Lovely stay. Nice comfortable bed & warm room. Small pool with access to sauna & steam room. Beautiful view of Dublin from back of hotel. Breakfast options very limited but was tasty.

Beautiful hotel with a great view of the water. The hotel rooms are big and well appointed. Large bathroom and comfortable beds.

It was a very nice welcome at the hotel. We took the Dart to the City and had a drink at the Hotel bar when we were back. The room was spacious and we had a great sleep

Booked the hotel for one night for a wedding sorry I didn't stay the weekend. The hotel was lovely beautiful location. Can't praise the staff enough all very helpful and plesent. The food was outstanding. Can't recommend enough 5 stars.

We have always enjoyed our stay in the Marine Hotel. The food and quality of the rooms is a very good . Overall a great place to stay.

Apart from the bedroom being very hot overnight even with the window open everything else was fine .Thankyou .We both enjoyed the beautiful view and we could access and visit our parents grave in St Fintans Cemetery Sutton .We enjoyed a nice hot meal in Cucinos restaurant.

Very goog standard in the new rooms, especially the bathroom was good.
