What is the hotel’s credit card policy?
When making a booking, all guests are required to give credit card details to secure bookings. This card will be preauthorized 24 hours in advance of arrival. Debit cards used for guarantee purposes will be charged the first night’s cost at the booking stage.
What payment methods are accepted?
The Marine Hotel accepts all major credit cards. Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
How do I make a group or multi-room booking?

What should I do if I have not received a booking confirmation?
Please contact our reservations team directly on +353 1 8390000 or email info@marinehotel.ie , and it can be resent to you. Please also check your spam or junk folder.

Do the room prices include VAT?
Yes, all room prices displayed on our website are inclusive of all taxes and fees.
Is my booking guaranteed if I have not provided a credit card?
No, all reservations require credit card details to guarantee bookings. Provisional bookings will be held for an agreed period and then released if not secured with credit card details.
How do I make a cancellation or amendment to my booking?
If you would like to cancel or amend an existing booking, please contact our reservations team for further assistance on +353 1 8390000 or email info@marinehotel.ie
For third-party bookings, please contact the third party directly.
What is the cancellation policy at the Marine Hotel?
For Individual bookings, our cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to arrival. Reservations which are cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the arrival date will be subject to a non-arrival charge of one night’s accommodation. Non-confirmed reservations will be cancelled.
For group bookings, please refer to the contracts issued.
What does the no-show policy entail?
No-show reservations will be charged one full night’s rate.
What time is check-in?
Check-in is from 3.00 pm
Does the Marine Hotel accommodate early check-in?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee an early check-in as it depends on the occupancy levels from the evening before. If a room is available upon your arrival, we will be sure to check you in, or alternatively, we can store your luggage until your room becomes available. If you expect to arrive earlier than 3.00pm to the Marine Hotel, we kindly ask that you inform our reservations team prior to arrival on +353 1 8390000 or emailinfo@marinehotel.ie so we can note on your booking and do our best to accommodate your request.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is by 12:00 noon.
Does the Marine Hotel accommodate late check-out?
Yes, we can accommodate late check-out for our guests. Late check-out is subject to availability. Please advise us on check-in if you would like to avail of this service. Please note that additional charges will apply.
Can I leave my luggage at the hotel?
Yes, we provide luggage storage facilities before and after check-in & check-out. Please liaise with the reception team for more information.
Are children welcome at the Marine Hotel?

Do you have family rooms?
Yes, we have large family rooms that can accommodate up to 4 guests
Do you provide cots/cribs in rooms?
Yes, we can provide cots/cribs for children up to two years of age. They must be pre-booked with our reservations team via +353 1 8390000 or info@marinehotel.ie before your arrival at the hotel
Does the Marine Hotel have interconnecting rooms?
Unfortunately, the Marine Hotel does not have interconnecting rooms
Is there a babysitting service available?
We recommend the ‘Belgrave Agency’. For any childminding enquiries, please visit their website www.nanny.ie or call +353 (0)1 280 9341. As the agency will require additional personal information, we recommend that guests contact the Belgrave agency directly.
Do you offer a children’s menu?
Yes, we offer a dedicated children’s menu for our younger guests, which is served in both the Schooner Lounge & Cucinos Restaurant
What time are children allowed in the pool?
Children are welcome to use the swimming pool from:
6.30 am-7.00 pm Monday to Friday
8.00 am-7.00 pm Saturday
9.00 am-7.00 pm Sunday and Public Holidays
Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. Please note that due to health and safety reasons, children under the age of 18 are not permitted to use the steam room or sauna
Are pets permitted at the Marine Hotel?
No, unfortunately, we do not allow pets. However, guide dogs are permitted at the Marine Hotel.
Is Wi-Fi available at the Marine Hotel?
Yes, we provide complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
Is the hotel reception desk open 24 hours a day?

What is the Marine Hotel’s smoking policy?
The Marine Hotel operates a strict non-smoking policy. Therefore, all bedrooms are completely non-smoking and fitted with smoke alarms. Please note that a failure to adhere to our non-smoking policy will result in an additional cleaning charge.
Does the Marine Hotel have elevators/lifts?
Yes, we have several elevators/lifts located throughout the hotel for ease of access to all areas.
Do you sell gift vouchers?

Can I rent a car at the hotel or nearby?
Yes, there are many car rental options in North County Dublin, including Hertz, Enterprise and Avis.
What can I do if I forget something at the hotel?
We understand that personal items can sometimes be left behind. If you have left something behind after check-out, please call +353 1 8390000, or email reception@marinehotel.ie , and our team will assist you.
Are there fridges in the bedrooms?
