Your Wedding is special and at the Marine Hotel we recognise this simple fact. We can explore many different options from bespoke room decoration to entertainment.
For Civil Ceremonies, we can provide a separate room or weather permitting, an outdoor Ceremony in our beautiful garden setting with the sea as your backdrop.
Our Menus are designed to give you some suggestions but anything can be created to suit your tastes and requirements.
With a lawn running to the shore of Dublin Bay and our entire team dedicated just to you on the day, the Marine Hotel offers a unique Dublin location for your Wedding. We roll out the red carpet for your arrival and that attention continues throughout your Wedding day.

We offer a full À La Carte Menu to choose from and we are always open to discussing other ideas with you.
To help in the menu selection process, we have prepared three ‘Menu Collection’ options that illustrate some choices and pricing. These menus also include extra items that contribute to the complete Wedding experience.
Additionally, we offer a fully inclusive ‘All Aboard’ package based on eighty guests. This package seeks to make the organisation of your Wedding easy to manage and adds in items such as the Wedding Cake, music, photography, flowers and limousine hire.
The Civil Wedding Ceremony is at the centre of your Wedding Day. Have your guests gather in the Hotel Lobby or on the lawn in preparation for your Civil Ceremony.
Depending on your guest numbers and weather, we have a few options on where to host your Civil Ceremony in the Hotel. Our favourite location is the lawn but if the weather is not so kind, then we offer either the Rathlin Suite or the Boardroom. Both rooms are located in the original Hotel building and have a lot of character to provide the perfect backdrop for your Civil Ceremony.
The room hire covers what you need but you can speak to us about adding in special touches such as chair covers, floral arrangements, lighting etc.
The Marine Hotel is the perfect choice for many smaller private and more intimate wedding receptions. We have a few options on where to host your party and our favourite locations are either the Rathlin Suite or the Boardroom.
Both of these rooms are located in the original Hotel building and have a lot of character to provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding. Our sales team can advise of what options are best suited to your particular event and specialised requirements.
Your Wedding Day has been a fabulous success for you, your family and your friends. Many will have taken the opportunity to stay overnight in the Marine Hotel and would enjoy a more informal gathering the next day.
We can arrange a Brunch to accommodate the late risers or how about a Marine Hotel BBQ? With easy access to the Garden, we can offer an ideal location for your next day event.
Sometimes guests like to use this time to explore the local area, especially the gorgeous Howth Village and the walks on Howth Head. All are easily accessible from the Hotel and we have extensive details on these and other activities on our Visitors Information page.
Our main Wedding Suite is the Brent Suite. It has a capacity from 80 to 200. We would not put in less than 80 as it would not suit the room and we do not exceed 200 as we want everyone to have plenty of space. Remember that when the room is reset after the meal to allow access to the Dance Floor, we want to ensure there is still plenty of room for everyone.
We also host Weddings in the Rathlin Suite for 40 to 60 guests. The Rathlin provides a very warm and intimate setting for your Wedding. Please note too that whether your Wedding is hosted in the Brent Suite or Rathlin Suite, we will only cater to one Wedding per day, so your Wedding will always be exclusive for us.

Make you have selected the right partner! After that things should be easy and it’s our job to help in that. The availability of a Church, Solemniser and the venue are the key considerations when you are setting the date.
We can provide you with a list of entertainment options based on people who have played in the Hotel and would be regarded as reliable and of high quality. We don’t recommend any one band, DJ or other entertainer, its very much a personal decision for you. All entertainers on a list will gladly invite you to see them playing so that you may judge them for yourself.
We can apply for a Bar Extension for you. However, a Wedding Day can be a long day for all your guests and often we recommend closing at normal bar hours with some time afterward to wind up the day. We like the adage “ always leave the crowd asking for more”.
