Marine Hotel

The earliest recorded name for the Marine Hotel was the "Golfers Hotel" and to this day we're very proud of our tradition as a golf hotel.

Royal Dublin Golf Club
This is one of the finest links courses in Ireland. The layout is traditional but the wind factor can make this course very hazardous. It has been the venue for many championships both National and International.

Directions:
Turn left out the Hotel Gate and travel down the coast road toward the City Centre for approximately 6km. Turn left over a wooden bridge, the Golf Club is now on your left.

Howth Golf Club
The nearest golf course to the hotel, this beautiful course is located on the scenic Howth Head. Enjoy a combination of a challenging heath land course and panoramic views of Dublin Bay and the North Dublin coastline.

Turn immediately right out the Hotel Gate and we are 1km along this road on the left (just past the graveyard).

Sutton Golf Course
One of the north Dublin Clubs, this nine hole Links course is the closest club to the hotel, about 2km. The beautiful Clubhouse with Professional shop and excellent restaurant, makes this a popular golfing venue.

Cross from the Hotel entrance to Station Road. Take first right after 100m, cross railway line, turn left to Golf Club entrance.

Portmarnock Golf Club
One of the premium Championship links Courses in the country, it has been the venue for the Irish Open Championship, Walker Cup and many more Championship events. There are 27 holes resting on a fine sandy soil.

Turn left out the Hotel Gate, travel 500m, turn right at first traffic lights. Travel for approximately 5.5km, turn right at a small roundabout, turn right at the Jet garage and follow this road directly to the Clubhouse gates.

Portmarnock Links Golf Course
This is the newest course to be opened in the area. Situated beside Portmarnock Golf Club and opened in July of 1995, this course shares many of the qualities of its neighbour and is forecast to be one of the best courses in due time.

Turn left out the Hotel Gate, travel 500m, turn right at first traffic lights. Travel for approximately 5.5km, turn right at a small roundabout, following the road for approximately 1km . The Links Golf Course is on the crest of a hill on your right hand side.

Malahide Golf Club
A Championship standard which opened to 27 holes in 1990. This new parkland course has water a feature of a number of the holes.

Directions:
Turn left out the Hotel Gate, travel 500m, turn right at first traffic lights. Travel for approximately 5.5km, turn right at a small roundabout, following the road for approximately 2km to the town of Malahide. Pass the Grand Hotel on your left, at the next traffic lights turn left and follow this road till you pass a school on your right hand side. Take the next left and follow this road till you arrive at the entrance to the club on the right hand side.

Deer Park Golf Club
This Club is located at the Deer Park Hotel in Howth and has two courses open to the public. Booking is advisable. On either course you will enjoy fine views of Dublin Bay.

Directions:
At the Hotel entrance, turn right to the far side of Sutton Cross, first ensuring all traffic has cleared the junction. Drive for approximately 3km and on your right will be a sign for the Deer Park Hotel and Golf Course. Turn right into the entrance and follow the driveway past Howth castle to the Golf course at the crest of the Hill.
